LEARN BY BUILDING
HTML Basics: Build a Useful Service Page
HTML gives a page its structure and meaning. Begin with the content a visitor needs: who the service is for, what it delivers and how to get in touch. The example below is a complete static page; it does not pretend to submit a form without a backend.
STEP 1
Run the example
Save the complete example as index.html and open it in a browser. Replace the example business name and email address with your own before publishing. The contact link opens the visitor’s configured email application; a website enquiry form is a separate feature that needs a real destination.
- Change the title and main heading.
- Add an honest description of the service.
- Click the email link and inspect the destination.
STEP 2
Understand the document
The head contains the page title, character encoding and viewport setting. The body contains the visible content. Main identifies the principal content area; sections group related content under headings. Native links support keyboard navigation without custom JavaScript.
- Use headings to describe the structure, not to choose font size.
- Keep link text specific enough to explain its destination.
- Add useful alternative text to informative images.
STEP 3
Extend it into a business website
Add service details, examples and answers to buying questions. Then introduce a contact form only when you can validate, save and deliver the enquiry. Use the Telegram build below to study that complete flow. Test the final page with a keyboard and on a phone before publishing.
- Use a visible label for each form input.
- Keep essential copy in HTML rather than images.
- Verify all navigation and contact links.

Adapt the bracketed details to your project. Ask your coding assistant to explain its changes, then run the examples and checks yourself.
Review this HTML service page for semantic structure, keyboard access and clear contact actions. Keep all business claims factual. Explain every change and do not add a form unless it has a real submission destination.
